There is a story of a town that had a very big statue which they cherished so much. A time came when the government of that area had to construct a road through that path, and that statue must be removed before the construction can take place successfully. When the statue was to be removed, they did not want to demolish it totally, but to remove it and place it in another location. As this was going on, the clayey statue began to break, but before they could totally remove it, the whole surface was broken, and to the amazement of everyone, the inner part of this clayey statue, was made of pure gold, and the gold inside the clayey and dirty statue, brought fame and fortune to the people of that town.
There is a deposit in us that is supposed to usher us into greatness. This deposit can never perform this function of firing us into greatness until it is activated by stirring. A piece of chalk, when thrown inside a cup of water will spread through the whole water when activated by stirring. Our talents will remain idle and useless, until we stir them up!!!
How then can we stir them up? We stir them up by study, training, mentoring, and continuous use.
